Our rooms

Our rooms are fully equipped for self-catering services with en-suite showers, fans, side lamps, basic plugs, ironing board with iron, cleaning material (for self-service when necessary), fridge, two plate stove and herbal tea facilities. This is to ensure complete relaxation and sense of satisfaction during your entire stay. Daily room maintenance is offered, unless preferred differently by guests.

Our showers

Our showers have his and hers towels, hand towel and floor towel, shaving plug and herbal soaps and shampoo. Face towels, toothpaste, and brush are available on request.

Ozonated environment/water: Ozone: Nature's healing gas

When it comes to hygiene and health, we go an extra mile. Ozone destroys bacteria and viruses as well as removing pathogens and pollutants that cause bad odours and illness. On client’s request, Ozone is made available in the rooms during your stay.

Massage Therapies

Many people consider massage therapy to be just about pampering, but it has important health benefits. In fact, you get the greatest benefit when massage therapy is part of your regular wellness routine.

Our health practice, Ubomi Revival Spot we offer Swedish massage, the most common type of massage therapy. It involves soft, long, kneading strokes, as well as light, rhythmic, tapping strokes, on topmost layers of muscles. This is also combined with movement of the joints. By relieving muscle tension, Swedish therapy can be both relaxing and energizing. And it may even help after an injury. Our therapies range from 15 to 90 minutes.

 

 

Healing Meditation Music

At Kayamina Guesthouse, the transformative powers of healing music are taken very seriously. The combination of rhythm and melody has a tremendous ability to influence our minds. When we are listening to a piece of music with a slow rhythm, in a major key, with no harsh elements, it can bring us to a more relaxed and soothing place.

Meditative music uses this calming style of music to aid your meditation practice, but it can have beneficial effects on all aspects of your life.

Sleep

Meditation music can help calm our nerves and take attention away from a noisy brain. It can also relax our bodies by stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system, which helps your body relax and prepare for sleep.

Mindful Meals

At Kayamina Guesthouse, we strive to keep our meals healthy. As a result, we do not serve sugar and fizzy drinks, we choose certain types of oils, salts and spices on food offered inhouse. 

Equally important, we encourage music at mealtime. Relaxing music creates a tranquil environment for you and your family that makes mealtime a healthier and more pleasurable experience. Eating on the go, eating in response to stress and eating fast are unhealthy habits. Experts agree that relaxing and slowly eating plays a vital role in the digestion process. 

NB: Even though Kayamina Guesthouse will not serve food deemed toxic or unhealthy, but we do not discriminate on what guests chosen to bring for self-catering. Clients can cook/serve and drink what they prefer during their stay.

 

Healing Herbal Tea Garden

Herbal teas are a gentle way to include healing herbs in your everyday routine. While they don’t have the potency that other herbal preparations have, herbal teas can be beneficial for chronic imbalances or to support more rigorous treatments for health and wellness.
